- The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills and is able to work independently while maintaining organization.
- Skills and knowledge related to dentistry or dental assisting are required for this position, in addition to a professional appearance and the ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Assist dentist in the preparation, cleaning, and restoration of teeth.
- Assist the dentist in positioning patients comfortably and properly.
- Help patients feel relaxed and secure.
- Prepare instrument trays for a dentist.
- Manage patient anxiety and prevent complications.
- Make referrals to other health professionals when necessary.
