What is Togga?

Togga is creating a fantasy sports platform that lets soccer fans connect, engage and enjoy fantasy games with their friends and the worldwide soccer community. Togga sets a new standard by introducing a format that allows for live drafting, no salary cap or squad limits, trades, waivers and head-to-head competition. The real time scoring is more dynamic with points awarded for key events such as chances created, successful dribbles, tackles won to reflect true performance on the field.

We are soccer enthusiasts from Austin, TX with expertise in bringing products from conception to growth. We have built and sold companies and recently left successful endeavors because we see a massive opportunity to be a leader in an untapped, growing fantasy soccer market.

Why we're doing this?

Frustrated with the current fantasy soccer mechanics and user experience, Togga is building a global fantasy sports platform that increases engagement and awareness within the growing soccer community. Togga is a seasoned team who are big believers in the growth story of soccer and fantasy sports -- creating an enhanced experience to converge the two.

Requirements

You have an understanding of the various aspects involved in running a large-scale cloud or web platform.

You are very familiar with operating Node.js, PHP, Python, or Ruby

You've had hands-on experience with an IaaS/PaaS stack.

You are comfortable with managing and maintaining automated deployment via continuous integration services.

You know when something is awry and take pride in being the first to respond to downtime

Bonus

Experience with building large scalable backend systems would be useful.

Got a CS Degree (or equivalent)? We'll talk to you about sliding window protocols and shortest path algorithms.

You have experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases and an understanding of the trade-offs.

Salary
$75,000 to $125,000 based on experience. Plus options.
