Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scenarios using Python or Java.
- Expand automation frameworks supporting Fixed Income and derivatives applications.
- Validate post-trade workflows, data lineage, and integration between internal and external applications.
- Develop complex SQL queries for data validation and testing.
- Partner with development teams to review stories, requirements, and automation estimates.
- Perform impact assessments for new features and application changes.
- Maintain test plans, test cases, test data, and automation scripts.
- Support code reviews and continued integration of automated testing into CI/CD processes.
- 5 7+ years of application development, SDET, or automation framework development experience.
- Strong hands-on Python programming skills.
- Strong SQL skills, including complex query development.
- Experience developing or expanding test automation frameworks.
- Fixed Income Capital Markets experience.
- Hands-on experience testing post-trade derivatives workflows.
- Working knowledge of swaps and their trade lifecycle.
- Experience with backend, API, integration, and data-focused testing.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams.
- Ability to understand complex data and application flows.
- Experience with interest rate swaps, OIS, inflation swaps, swaptions, CDS, repos, TRS, futures, or options.
- Regulatory testing experience within capital markets.
- CI/CD and automated testing pipeline experience.
- Experience supporting trading technology modernization initiatives.
- Experience within hedge funds or other sophisticated capital markets environments.
