Job Description

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Background Screening Agent for a contract assignment with one of our premier investment management clients in Wilmington, DE. This is a hybrid role with 4 days per week onsite. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR Operations, onboarding, background screening, employee compliance, or a similar operational environment where attention to detail, process adherence, and strong judgment are critical. This team manages a high volume of sensitive and regulated work, so candidates should be comfortable working within established controls while maintaining a strong client service mindset. Required Skills:

Experience managing background screening, onboarding, compliance, verification, or other employee lifecycle processes.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately handle high-volume, process-driven work.
Sound judgment when reviewing information, identifying risks, and escalating appropriately.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with candidates, employees, and stakeholders.
A continuous improvement mindset and examples of streamlining processes or improving the user experience.
Experience working in complex or highly regulated environments where confidentiality and documentation are important.
