Bank Internship

Position Summary: The purpose of this bank internship is to gain an understanding of everyday functions of a community bank through a hands on experience. Interns will obtain exposure to customer service, credit analysis, operations, compliance, and risk components of banking through a rotational and tailored training curriculum.

Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the processing of customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Support the relationship management team by preparing reports and presentations as requested.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Help with the documentation and compliance processes for various banking products.
• Participate in team meetings, assist in departmental projects, represent the bank at community events.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and directing client to the appropriate departments.
• Collaborate with colleagues on daily operations and special projects.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complies with the bank's Confidentiality and Code of Ethics and Conflict of Interest Policies.

Education, Experience, and Other Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Energetic, organized, and detailed skilled with today's technology.
