Job Description
Location: Jacksonville, FLHours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Support routine day-to-day operations of consumer and commercial banking.
- Assist with service transactions and support multi-channel inbound referrals.
- Verify daily proofs and process payments that may require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.
- Answer service and referral calls, respond to customer questions, and assist with service transactions.
- Ensure daily proofs and reconciliations comply with corporate accounting and control policies.
- Validate the accuracy of payments, tickets, and online entries.
- Provide solutions to customer, branch, or bank inquiries and escalate issues as necessary.
- Investigate customer inquiries using multiple resources and records.
- Enter transactions into CRT/PC and balance general ledger accounts.
- Ensure work is properly safeguarded and controlled in accordance with banking policies and procedures.
- Assist with subject matter expert projects as requested.
Requirements:
- High School Preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Research skills
- State Escheatment Knowledge: Working knowledge of state escheatment laws, reporting timelines, due-diligence, requirements, and remittance processes.
- Adaptability – Ability to learn, execute, and retain processes
