Job Description

Role OverviewWe are seeking a Banking Payments Expert with deep knowledge of payment systems, processes, and regulations to support business initiatives, digital transformation, and operational improvements. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert on payments, collaborating with business, technology, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expertise in domestic and cross-border payment systems including SWIFT, RTGS, ACH, and card networks
Support payment operations, process optimization, and digital payment initiatives
Collaborate with business, operations, and technology teams to implement solutions
Analyze, design, and optimize payment workflows and processes
Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements
Assist in evaluating and implementing payment technologies and platforms

Required Skills & Experience

6–12 years of experience in banking payments or payment operations
Strong understanding of payment processing, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation
Knowledge of payment regulations and risk frameworks
Experience in process improvement, business analysis, or digital transformation initiatives
Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with digital payment platforms, fintech solutions, or payment gateways
Familiarity with SWIFT, ISO 20022, RTGS, ACH, and card payment networks
Consulting or advisory experience (nice to have)
