Job Description

Job Title: Bankruptcy Administrative Assistant

Join a respected legal team known for excellence in creditors" rights and professional growth. This is a great opportunity to build your legal administrative career in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and electronically file legal documents using PACER, NJ E-Courts, and NextChapterDraft and manage client correspondence and legal documentationReview, redline, and proofread bankruptcy schedules and foreclosure filingsMaintain attorney calendars, handle time entry, and provide general administrative support

Required Skills & Experience:

2-4 years of experience in a law firm environmentStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent organizational skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Prior experience in bankruptcy or creditors" rights lawFamiliarity with legal filing systems and court procedures

Additional Details:

Salary: $50,000-$55,000Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PMWork Environment: In-office (no remote option)
