Job Description
Everstaff is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal to join a prestigious New York City firm. This role will support the firm's New York-based and nationwide creditor-focused bankruptcy practice.
The Bankruptcy Paralegal will provide comprehensive support to attorneys on bankruptcy and restructuring matters across multiple jurisdictions, including New Jersey, New York, and federal bankruptcy courts.
Pay: $130,000 - $150,000

Key Responsibilities
- Provide paralegal support for complex bankruptcy matters, including Chapter 11 cases and creditor representations
- Draft, file, and manage pleadings and related court documents across multiple jurisdictions
- Maintain case files, calendars, and critical deadlines while ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures
- Assist attorneys with claims reconciliation, fee applications, and billing coordination
- Monitor court dockets, summarize filings, and prepare hearing materials
- Communicate with clients, creditors, and professionals to support case progress and documentation
- Perform additional administrative and project-based support as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of six years of substantive bankruptcy experience, preferably in a law firm environment
- Strong understanding of federal and state court procedures and electronic filing systems (CM/ECF)
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
