Job Summary:

The Banquet Server sets up the Banquet Room and serves food and/or beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner according to hotel standards.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties & Responsibilities:

Examine trays to ensure that they contain the required items.
Place food servings on plates or trays according to orders.
Monitor food distribution and ensure meals are delivered correctly, following guidelines for special diets.
Load trays with accessories like utensils and napkins.
Clean and sterilize dishes, utensils, and equipment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with excellent customer service skills.

Education & Experience:

Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and sitting.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
