Paul Mitchell The School Wichita in Wichita, KS is hiring a full-time Barber Instructor to join our team. Pay: We offer our Barber Instructor a competitive wage of $20–$25 per hour based on experience. Along with a sign on bonus of $1000 ($500 upfront and $500 in 6 month)

WHAT ARE THE HOURS?

This full-time role operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?

As our Barber Instructor, you'll step onto the clinic floor each day as the leader your students rely on. You'll demonstrate cuts, shaves, grooming techniques, and real-world customer service while coaching students through hands-on practice. You'll maintain structure in the classroom, track progress, answer technical questions, and help each Future Professional build confidence through consistent, skilled guidance.

IS THIS THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU?

  • Current barber license or a barbering instructor license (we will train the right candidate)
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational abilities
  • Strong supervision, teamwork, documentation skills
  • Solid work history with verifiable references
  • Honesty, professionalism, reliability, and a genuine passion for barbering

Experience in barbering or education, familiarity with Paul Mitchell products, and previous instruction at a barber school are preferred, but not required. We're willing to train the right Barber Instructor!
