Job Description

Title: Barista, Union Patisserie (Must be 21 years or older)

Compensation: $18/hr+tips; Benefits available for full-time employees

Location: Union Patisserie; Park City, Utah

Reef is a Utah-based vertically integrated investment and development firm founded in 2005, with three primary lines of business: Investments, Real Estate, and Lifestyle. Reef's team is currently involved in some of the most prominent development transactions in Utah and other targeted geographies across the United States.

Reef has partnered with a growing restaurant group led by James Beard Award Winning Chef Galen Zamarra located in the heart of Park City, Utah, an internationally renowned ski destination. Together, we have developed two new concepts: a 100 seat brasserie and bar (Le Depot Brasserie) and a French pastry & coffee shop (Union Patisserie).

Position Overview:

The Barista will be responsible for the highest quality preparation and service of coffee-based beverages and other specialty drinks, as well as the service of food items such as bread, pastries, salads and sandwiches. This position is for afternoon/closing shifts.

Qualifications:

1 year or more of prior barista experience is desired
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be able to work afternoon/closing shifts
Professional espresso and coffee preparation knowledge & skills
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong teamwork abilities to work efficiently in a fast paced and high-volume environment

Physical Requirements:

Perform various physical movements throughout the work area
Stand and walk for extended periods both at the host stand and throughout the restaurant
Endure changes of temperature between indoor and outdoor environments
