From weddings to corporate functions, our client prides itself on professionalism, service, and attention to detail.Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a Bartender to support banquet and event operations. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in mixology and enjoy creating a positive, engaging experience for guests.Key ResponsibilitiesBeverage Service
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to event specifications
- Follow standard recipes to ensure consistency and quality
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and provide responsible service
- Set up and stock the bar with glassware, garnishes, ice, and supplies before events
- Maintain a clean, organized bar area throughout service
- Break down and clean the bar area after events
- Provide prompt, friendly service to guests in a fast-paced setting
- Accurately process drink orders and handle cash and card transactions
- Collaborate with banquet staff to ensure smooth and timely service
- Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and proper serving methods
- Experience working with standard bar equipment (shakers, taps, blenders, etc.)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-energy environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
- Understanding of alcohol service laws and ability to check IDs as required
- Flexible, event-based scheduling
