The Role:

To provide excellent service to guests in a timely manner, and to assure quality guest service and a favorable gaming experience.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal guests at all times.
• Prepare drinks correctly and promptly for guests at bar and for Beverage and/or Food Servers.
• Sell cigarettes and amenities to guests, accurately ringing orders, taking payments, and making change as necessary.
• Understand and adhere to established cash handling procedures and policies.
• Assist with cleaning the bar area and with inventory.
• Appropriately use all bar equipment and cash handling systems.
• Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
• Appropriately take food orders and serve food to guests.
• Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Ensure the safety and security of team members and guests.
• Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally's Kansas City Casino and departmental management.
• Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• One year experience in bartending or as a bar back is required.
