The Flavor Profile A Bartender (Show Ambassador) thrives in a high-energy, interactive environment where hospitality, performance, and sales come together. You create a fun, engaging, and safe bar experience while driving revenue through product knowledge, suggestive selling, and upselling techniques. You bring a strong understanding of responsible alcohol service, food safety, and guest engagement, while confidently recommending products and enhancing the guest experience. You are comfortable balancing sales performance with compliance, ensuring all service aligns with Nevada SNHD regulations and MOIC brand standards.
Your Day-to-Day: Guest Engagement, Sales & Bar Experience
- Deliver a high-energy, on-brand bar experience through engaging guest interactions and storytelling.
- Use strong product knowledge to confidently recommend beverages, pairings, and upgrades.
- Drive revenue through suggestive selling and upselling techniques, including add-ons, premium options, and featured menu items.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales while maintaining a guest-first hospitality approach.
- Create memorable moments that encourage repeat purchases and guest satisfaction.
Bar Operations & Inventory
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) practices for all perishable and bar inventory.
- Execute a strong close-to-open strategy, ensuring the bar is reset, stocked, and ready for the next shift.
- Support inventory organization and restocking to maintain smooth operations.
Food Safety & SNHD Compliance
- Maintain compliance with Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) standards.
- Ensure sanitizer buckets are properly maintained throughout shifts.
- Ensure ice scoop handles never come into contact with ice.
- Maintain proper temperature control for dairy, cream, and egg products (41°F or below).
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Use gloves or tweezers when handling ready-to-eat foods
Cleanliness, Organization & Teamwork
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing bar area.
- Support cleanliness of front-of-house and back-of-house spaces.
- Collaborate with Show Ambassadors and Service Teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Support events, VIP experiences, and high-volume service periods.
The pay rate for this role is $17/hour plus tips.
Requirements
Necessities:
- 21 years of age or older
- TAM Card (Alcohol Awareness Certification)
- Food Handler Card or ServSafe Certification
- Non-Gaming Sheriff’s Card
- Open availability, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and sales-focused mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Nice to Haves:
- Experience bartending or bar backing in high-volume food & beverage service
- Experience with upselling, retail sales, or suggestive selling techniques
- Experience in entertainment, performance, or experiential environments
- Basic knowledge of inventory and bar operations
Licensing & Certifications (Nevada Requirements):
Candidates must possess or be able to obtain and maintain the following:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- TAM Card
- Nevada Health Card
- Non-Gaming Sheriff’s Card
- Food Handler Card or ServSafe Certification
