The ideal candidate for this position:

· Has 2 years experience working in customer service and/or the food service industry as bartender or mixologist

· Can work a flexible schedule including:

o Day Shifts

o Evening Shifts

o Weekend Shifts

o Holiday Shifts

· Has a reputation for giving great service to guests and coworkers

· Is enthusiastic about sharing exceptional service standards with our guests

· Can maintain a pleasant smile and demeanor throughout the shift

· Has a proven sales record

· Can handle multiple tasks at one time

· Is self motivated, especially under pressure

· Is a creative mixologist

· Is able to maintain "on stage" presence throughout shift

· Is able to learn and retain new flavors/ingredients

· Communicates in person and over the phone with enthusiasm

· Has good problem solving skills

· Is able to pass and practice the Maui County Department of Liquor Test

· Is able to pass and practice the TiPS training course

· Accurately describes menu items and daily specials in an appealing way

· Suggests items to create a positive experience for guests regardless of sales price

· Is able to maintain and document an accurate inventory

· Participates with the creativity of the bar menus with the standards and guidelines set forth
