Job Description

Upstream Hospitality Group is an ever-growing hospitality group that has a wide variety of tastes with a common theme holding them all together: creativity, progression, and originality. We’re currently looking for experienced bartenders to join our front-of-house team at The Tap Room!

Who You are

You enjoy creating quality drinks while engaging with guests and building connections. You thrive in a busy, energetic environment and understand the balance of speed, accuracy, and genuine hospitality. As a Tap Room Bartender, you help set the tone for the guest experience and contribute to a fun, positive team atmosphere.What You'll Do

Prepare and serve beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) efficiently and with attention to detail.
Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive service to every guest at the bar and in the dining room.
Ask for ID anytime serving alcohol to guests. There are no exceptions to this law and policy.
Maintain full knowledge of our food, beverage, and beer menus, along with current specials and promotions.
Ensure prompt service for bar guests, along with service bar.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar.
Have knowledge of proper pours and use of glassware.
Adheres to state, federal, and company liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
Help promote our restaurant: Great food, good people!
Assist fellow team members in the performance of their responsibilities. We want team players only!
Complete all opening and closing tasks pertinent to the bartending position, as well as running side-work.
All other duties as assigned.

What We'll Need From You

At least 6 months of experience in a similar role
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build positive relationships.
Availability – Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements – Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.

Certifications – Valid TIPS Certification (or willingness to obtain).
