Lead Controls Engineer - Innovative HVAC Mechanical & Controls company - A LOT of Optimization and Central Plant solutions The company has 130+ employees, team-player/work culture, and has 2 locations in Southern California: 1 in Central Orange County and 1 in North Los Angeles.POSITION:
- Lead Controls Engineer (establishes standardization for the design and drafting team)
- 2 Offices: one in Orange County and one in Los Angeles*
- Remote-Flexibility
- Participate in Job Walks
- Lead and mentor engineering teams responsible to design, develop and release Controls projects and HVAC projects (depending upon interest/experience)
- Set engineering standardization practices
- Grow the existing Engineering Department*
- Current staff is an HVAC Mechanical Engineer w/P.E. and a Controls Design Engineer.
- Expertise in design engineering of Chiller/Central Plants and Retrofit projects
- Execute deliverables within a phased-gate development system.
- Help prepare mechanical drawings for construction and city permits working with AutoCAD or MS Visio
- PLUS (Not Required) – P.E. or Professional Engineer
- 130+ people
