Job Description
United Steel Fabrication LLC is seeking a reliable and skilled Beam Line Operator to join our growing team. Responsibilities
- Operate beam line equipment to cut and process steel beams accurately according to blueprints and job specifications.
- Set up machinery and tooling based on project requirements.
- Inspect beams for quality, dimensions, and compliance with standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of beam line equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area consistent with company safety protocols.
- Coordinate with other departments to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
- Document production data and maintain records as required.
Requirements
- Experience operating beam line machinery or similar equipment in a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and a strong focus on maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing setting.
