We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSTION SUMMARY:The Child Watch Team Member will assist in daily child programs such as monitoring, safekeeping, and enforcing daily operations while providing excellent customer service. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Assist children while they engage in group and individual sports activities
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Assist with morning drop-off and check-in as well as afternoon pick-up and sign-outAssist other counselors/coaches with any other duties as assigned by Child Watch ManagerMaintain effective discipline and safety procedures during child activities
Transport children to and from school
All other duties as assigned by managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to work with a wide variety of children, ages from 7-12 Flexible work schedule and regular attendance is necessary
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Must be detail-orientated and have outstanding organizational skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, and fellow team members
Must work well with others
Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility
Able to enter information on a computerWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
Will be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend
Must be able to identify problems and/or hazards and resolve or report to management
Must comply with safety and health code standards
Facility has intermittent noise
Able to run/walk as neededPREFERRED:CPR/First Aid CertifiedCamp experience
Experience organizing youth activities
Customer service and/or staff management experience
