Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with mental health challenges? We are seeking a dedicated professional to work in a psychiatric outpatient setting, helping clients achieve social, economic, emotional, and physical balance and independence. This role is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our community in the charming city of Dover, DE.

As a key member of our team, you will perform professional social work by overseeing and participating in the support of individuals with developmental disabilities, mental illness, or emotional disturbances. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
Providing direct service and person-centered management of client risk and safety
Delivering comprehensive patient care services
Consulting with state and private agencies
Referring clients to appropriate social service agencies

Requirements

Master's Degree in Behavioral or Social Science or a related field
Three years of experience in case management, including assessing, planning, and implementing services
Three years of experience in providing clinical treatment or counseling as part of a treatment team

Preferences

Experience in a psychiatric outpatient setting
Strong communication and consultative skills
