Job Description

Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center in Lawton, OK is looking for dedicated and passionate individuals to join their Adult Outpatient Department. This position will work alongside a robust treatment team to provide care for adults. Job Type/Salary:

  • Senior Behavioral Health Case Manager II: $48,500

  • Behavioral Health Case Manager II: $46,750

  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Additional Compensation: Along with our great benefits we also offer additional compensation for working outside of normal business hours!

  • Evening/Nights - extra $3.00 hr.

  • Weekends - extra $3.00 hr.

  • Holidays - extra $3.00 hr.

Employee will receive on-call rate and generous shift differentials for after-hours work.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Behavioral Health Case Manager II: Have a minimum of thirty-six (36) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder and possess a High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED).

Or have sixty (60) college credit hours and twelve (12) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder.

Or a bachelor's or master's degree in any field and have a minimum of six (6) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder.

Or a bachelor's or master's degree in behavioral health.

Or a current license as a registered nurse in the State of Oklahoma with documented experience in behavioral health care.

Senior Behavioral Health Case Manager II: Same Requirements as a Behavioral Health Case Manager II plus an additional two (2) years of experience in professional case management behavioral health services.

Special Requirements:

  • Both job levels are required to complete the Department-sponsored case management certification within 30 days of the start date contingent upon training availability.

About us: Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center in Lawton, OK is a community-based center with a primary focus on mental health and substance abuse treatment. The inpatient and outpatient services they provide include special groups and programs for adolescents, persons with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, seniors and older adults, women, men, and criminal justice groups.

Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Pre-placement Testing: Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.

THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
