Job Description

Behavioral Health Consultant

1.0 FTE position (40 hrs per week)

Livingston location with occasional travel to Bozeman and Belgrade

Compensation: $81,935.00 - $92,601.60

Position Summary:

The Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC), as part of the primary care team, provides behavioral health consultation to children, adolescents, adults and families in order to improve psychosocial function. BHC position serves One Health sites in Livingston, Bozeman, and Belgrade through in-person and tele health encounters.

With multiple clinic sites across Montana and Wyoming, One Health provides medical and behavioral health services to rural populations through a community-based, integrated approach to health care.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certificates/Licenses:

Required

  • Master's in social work (LCSW) or Professional Mental Health Counseling (LCPC) or Marriage and Family Counseling (LMFT) or PhD in Clinical Psychology
  • Current Montana Licensure as a LCSW or Licensed Clinical Psychologist or LCPC, or LMFT OR
  • BLS Certification upon hire
  • Valid driver's license

Experience:

Required

  • Assessment and treatment planning for common mental health and/or substance use disorders, when appropriate

Preferred

  • Diverse culture
  • Two (2) years of experience as Behavioral Health Provider
  • Two (2) years of experience in a community health setting
