Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician Employment Type: Direct Hire Location: Natick, MA Openings: 10–15 total openings Schedule and Shifts: Full-time positions working 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts. Every other weekend and every other holiday is a requirement. Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Compensation: Hourly pay range is $15.75 to $19.75 based on years of experience. 0–1 years: $15.75 – $16.50 1–2 years: $16.50 – $17.50 2–3 years: $17.50 – $18.50 3–4 years: $18.50 – $19.25 4+ years: Maximum $19.75 Shift Differentials: Night shift differential of $2.25 per hour. Weekend differential of $1.00 per hour. Sign-On Bonus: Sign-on bonus available. Position Summary: Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Support Technician professionals to join a mental health services team in Natick, MA. This role provides direct support to patients across a full continuum of mental health care, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. The position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment while assisting patients with daily living activities and supporting clinical care teams. Mental Health Services Overview: Services include a full continuum of care for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors; partial hospitalization programs to support transition from inpatient to outpatient care; and 24-hour access to emergency mental health and substance abuse evaluation services. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate the maintenance of a therapeutic environment within the psychiatric unit. Assist patients with activities of daily living. Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with assigned patients. Take and record vital signs, weigh patients, and collect routine specimens as required. Attend and participate in group therapy sessions, staff meetings, in-service education, and training programs. Support patient comfort, safety, and emotional well-being. Perform related duties as assigned. Education Requirements: High School Diploma is required. Coursework or education in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or related fields is a plus. Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is a hard requirement. Relevant experience includes human services-related roles such as case management, care coordination, behavioral health support, social services, youth or family services, community services, or education support roles. Certification Requirements: Current CPR certification is required. Certification typically includes Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent and must be active and verifiable at the time of hire or within a short onboarding window.
