Position Summary
The Behavioral Healthcare Provider II delivers advanced behavioral health services within a secure, high-acuity correctional healthcare setting. This role is responsible for independently developing, coordinating, and implementing treatment plans, providing clinical interventions for complex behavioral health cases, and serving as a lead clinician supporting interdisciplinary care teams. The provider applies behavioral and biomedical principles to support the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of clients.
Qualifications
- One of the following Ohio-issued licenses required:
- Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC)
- Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
- Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT)
- Registered Nurse with Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) or Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) designation in Mental Health or Psychiatry
- Current and unrestricted license in good standing required
- Strong experience in behavioral health treatment planning and crisis intervention
- Ability to manage complex clinical cases independently
- Strong documentation, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based behavioral health practices and treatment modalities
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in correctional, inpatient, or high-security behavioral health settings preferred
- Experience working with high-acuity or forensic populations preferred
- Experience leading or mentoring clinical staff preferred
