SUMMARY

The Bender Operator is responsible for setting up and operating bending machines to shape metal components according to specifications. This role requires precision, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read technical drawings.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Operate production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications.
• Maintain a safe work environment to make certain MIOSHA safety rules and regulations are followed.
• Conduct quality inspections using appropriate quality measurement tools (calipers, tapes, height gages, check fixtures etc.)
• Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and demonstrate proficiency in following work instructions.
• Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Follow and comply with ISO quality procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area following 5S process.
• Must be able to handle high stress situations.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
