Job Description
A multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering and construction firm is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Administrator to help ensure employees are paid accurately while supporting effective benefits programs that strengthen the employee experience. In this role, you will manage payroll operations, coordinate benefits administration, and partner with leadership and accounting to maintain compliant and efficient processes at their Palo Alto, CA office.
Your Day Includes
Process biweekly payroll across multiple offices, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
Maintain payroll records including wages, deductions, bonuses, taxes, and benefit contributions
Administer employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans, handling enrollments and changes
Serve as the primary contact for employee payroll and benefits questions
Reconcile payroll reports and collaborate with accounting to resolve discrepancies
Must Haves
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, accounting, or related field
4–7+ years of payroll administration experience with benefits management
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and multi-state payroll practices
Proficiency with payroll systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
