Job Overview
The Beverage Technician is responsible for batching formulas and prototypes to support customer requests and internal scientists. This role ensures laboratory activities meet technical, safety, and efficiency goals while assisting in the development and preparation of customer-ready samples.
Job Responsibilities
Perform and interpret analytical testing
Batch formulas with minor modifications, screen flavors and colors, and adjust formulas in Wildware
Conduct basic math conversions including ratio scaling, fraction proportioning, and percentage calculations
Follow and adhere to ISO procedures daily
Set up informal sensory triangle tastings and conduct stability tests under supervision
Utilize AS400 and LEAD systems to research information and generate shipments
Generate data for demo sheets
Screen and select flavor options for development
Qualifications
High School Diploma or higher required
1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
Preference for candidates with food science or chemistry background
Required Skills
Basic mathematical skills (ratios, fractions, percentages, scaling)
Basic scientific knowledge including chemistry terminology and concepts
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and general file management
Experience with analytical instruments such as pH meters, Brix, spectrophotometers, and titratable acidity (TA)
