This full-time, permanent position is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to handle complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts. Our ideal candidate is a skilled attorney with a proven track record of success in conducting and defending depositions, preparing witnesses for testimony, appearing for status conferences, arguing motions, participating in settlement conferences, and has extensive experience with trial preparation.Why join us?

Job DetailsResponsibilities:1. Manage all aspects of litigation including discovery, depositions, motion practice, trial preparation, trial, and appeals.2. Conduct and defend depositions effectively, preparing witnesses for testimony to ensure the best possible outcome.3. Appear for status conferences, adeptly arguing motions and actively participating in settlement conferences.4. Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, appeals, and agreements.5. Provide expert legal advice to clients, presenting complex legal matters in a clear and concise manner.6. Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to effectively manage case load.7. Develop strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, and government regulations.9. Participate in business development activities to attract and retain clients.Qualifications:1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.2. 3-4 years of experience as a litigation associate.3. Admission to the TX State Bar and in good standing.4. Experience in state and federal courts.5. Proven track record of conducting and defending depositions.6. Demonstrated experience in preparing witnesses for testimony.7. Experience in appearing for status conferences and arguing motions.8. Experience in participating in settlement conferences.9. Extensive experience in trial preparation.10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.11. Exceptional negotiation skills and ability to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations.12. Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, demanding environment.13. High degree of professional ethics, integrity and gravitas.14. Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.15. Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently.16.
