Bilingual (Italian/English) Associate (Audit & Tax) - Atlanta, GATo Apply Now - email your resume to [email protected]Who: We are seeking an organized, proactive associate with 1–2+ years of public accounting experience and native-level Italian language skills.What: You will support audit engagements, prepare tax returns, perform technical research, and deliver high-quality auditing and tax compliance services to Italian manufacturing and distribution clients.When: This is a full-time position available for immediate hire.Where: Based in our confidential client’s U.S. headquarters in Atlanta, GA.Why: This role offers the opportunity to gain diversified audit and tax experience while working closely with international clients in a growing global practice.Office Environment: You’ll work within a collaborative, international team focused on quality service, professional development, and strong communication.Salary: Compensation is competitive and supported by a comprehensive benefits package.Position Overview:The Bilingual (Italian/English) Associate (Audit & Tax) will support a variety of audit and tax engagements, assist in preparing tax returns, conduct technical research, and communicate closely with team members and clients to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.Key Responsibilities:- Perform audit engagements, primarily for manufacturing and distribution clients.- Develop and execute audit programs by defining objectives, identifying risks, assessing controls, and designing test procedures.- Assist with preparing tax returns and related client communications.- Prepare Federal and state corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.- Conduct technical accounting research across various accounting and tax topics.- Deliver high-quality services that consistently exceed client expectations.- Maintain active communication to manage timelines and client satisfaction.- Prepare clear and concise workpapers and documentation.- Organize priorities and provide progress updates to team leaders.Qualifications:- Native-level Italian language proficiency (written and verbal).- 1–2+ years of professional experience, including public accounting.- BA/BS in Accounting or Master’s in Accounting/Taxation.- Strong English writing, research, and communication skills.- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and process-oriented mindset.- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.Preferred Qualifications:- U.S. CPA license or in progress.- Currently residing and working in the U.S.- Experience with ProSystem fx Engagement, ProSystem fx Tax, and CCH Axcess.Benefits:- 401(k) plan with 3% employer-paid contribution.- Medical, paid dental, vision, life, disability, and AD&D insurance.- Flexible spending accounts.- 25 days of PTO for full-time employees.- Paid holidays plus an additional day after the 4/15 deadline.- Flexible work arrangements.- Paid Day of Service annually.- Paid parking or public transportation reimbursement.- Mobile phone reimbursement.- Tuition reimbursement and training opportunities.- Paid CPA exam days and a monetary CPA exam passing bonus.If you’re interested in learning more about this opportunity or would like to discuss your qualifications, please apply now.
