About the Role:
The Warehouse Specialist ensures smooth operations and efficient completion of projects, in the daily activities in the department. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced logistics and distribution environment where your hard work makes a real impact every day.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensures that the necessary equipment is available and in working order to complete assignments.
- Provides support to the Warehouse Supervisors with the daily warehouse workflow.
- Assists with conducting daily safety checks on equipment, including the forklift
- Assist with the inspections for the quality and quantity of supplies and equipment delivered to the department.
- Maintains detailed and accurate warehouse work records.
- Collaborates with the team to identify ways to improve departmental effectiveness and implements viable ideas.
- Orders new equipment as requested by management.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Required Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of organization, with attention to details
- Knowledge of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in the warehouse.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Education and Experience:
- REQUIRED: At least 1-2 years of related warehouse work experience
- REQUIRED: Chinese and English proficiency.
- REQUIRED: ERP inventory and FTZ system experience.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
