Job Description

The Clinical Services Coordinator is often the first friendly face and voice families encounter at Kids FIRST. In this role, you'll help create a welcoming, supportive experience for children, caregivers, and community partners while coordinating the day-to-day logistics that keep our services running smoothly. From answering calls and greeting families to scheduling appointments, managing referrals, and supporting intake processes, you'll play a key role in connecting families to critical services. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes law enforcement, child welfare, prosecutors, medical providers, and advocates, you'll help ensure children impacted by abuse receive timely, coordinated, and compassionate care.

Kids FIRST is an Accredited Children's Advocacy Center that has been serving Lane County since 1994. Our team is dynamic and multidisciplinary, bringing together therapists, medical providers, forensic interviewers, and other professionals under one roof to support children and families. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Be the first point of contact for children, families, and community partners, creating a welcoming, professional, and trauma-informed experience from the moment they connect with Kids FIRST.

  • Coordinate clinical services and support case intake, including screening referrals, scheduling appointments, gathering required information, and helping ensure children and families receive timely access to services.

  • Manage confidential records and patient information, maintaining accurate data across multiple systems and coordinating the collection and organization of reports and case documentation.

  • Support multidisciplinary collaboration, working closely with law enforcement, child welfare, prosecutors, medical providers, advocates, and other community partners involved in child abuse intervention.

  • Help keep our center running smoothly, assisting with facility operations, meeting coordination, office administration, and creating a safe, welcoming environment for children, families, staff, and visitors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma; AND

  • 1+ years of experience in a medical, healthcare, or similar customer service environment, including patient scheduling

  • A valid Oregon driver's license

  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish

Work Environment:

Work is performed in a professional child advocacy center environment with a moderate noise level and periods of increased activity and emotional intensity. Regular interaction with children and families who have experienced trauma is expected, along with collaboration with multidisciplinary team (MDT) partners.
