Bilingual Dental Assistant, Efda/Edda

Job Summary: We are seeking a Bilingual Dental Assistant with EFDA/EDDA certification to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and another language, possess exceptional communication skills, and have a passion for providing quality oral healthcare. Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program- EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant) or EDDA (Expanded Duty Dental Assistant) certification- Bilingual proficiency in English and another language- X-ray certification preferred- CPR certification preferred- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental x-rays- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and postoperative care- Perform expanded functions as allowed by state regulations- Maintain accurate patient records- Ensure the dental office is clean and well-stocked- Assist with front office tasks as needed If you are a Bilingual Dental Assistant with EFDA or EDDA certification looking to make a difference in the lives of patients from diverse backgrounds, we encourage you to apply for this position.
