Job Description

Location: West Houston located near I-10/Park TenLength: Temporary assignment assisting for 3 months Pay Rate: $25-30/hr., DOEPre-Employment Details: Will be required to complete a drug screen prior to starting POSITION SUMMARY: The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department, with a primary focus on onboarding, position management, recruiting administration, compliance reporting, and pre?employment screening activities. This role ensures HR processes are executed accurately, timely, and in compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.  ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:·       Assist with onboarding new employees, ensuring all required documentation, forms, and system entries are completed accurately and on time.·       Coordinate new hire start dates, orientations, and onboarding schedules in collaboration with HR and hiring managers.·       Create, maintain, and update positions within the position management system in accordance with approved headcount and organizational structure.·       Open, update, and close job requisitions in the applicant tracking system (ATS).·       Run HR and recruiting reports, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.·       Compile and submit data required for prevailing wage updates and compliance reporting.·       Initiate, track, and monitor background screening processes for candidates and employees.·       Coordinate and schedule pre?employment and post?offer drug screenings with approved vendors.·       Track screening results and communicate clearance status to HR and hiring managers as appropriate.·       Maintain accurate and confidential employee and recruiting records in HR systems.·       Respond to routine HR inquiries and escalate issues as needed.·       Assist the Human Resources department with additional administrative responsibilities and support activities as needed.·       Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.CERTIFICATIONS:SHRM-PHR or equivalent is a plusQUALIFICATIONS:·       High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.·       Minimum of one to two years of administrative or human resources support experience.·       Experience working with HRIS, ATS, or position management systems preferred.·       Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.·       Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.·       Strong written and verbal communication skills.·       Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast?paced environment.·       MUST be fully bilingual in Spanish
