Job Description

We are seeking a Bilingual Human Resources (HR) Employee Relations professional to join the team in SC, to support construction operations with a focus on employee relations, conflict resolution, and HR compliance. This role is field based with frequent travel to active job sites and interaction with employees and supervisors to enhance workplace engagement and performance.

What You'll Do as the Bilingual Human Resources (HR) Employee Relations:

  • Serve as the on-site HR resource for employees and supervisors across active job sites
  • Investigate employee concerns and lead conflict resolution efforts with professionalism and discretion
  • Advise leaders on performance management, disciplinary actions, and HR policy application
  • Regularly walk job sites to engage with employees and assess workplace conditions
  • Escalate complex or sensitive issues to corporate HR when appropriate
  • Support performance review cycles and participate in employee evaluations
  • Coordinate and deliver training programs for employees and supervisors
  • Facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation
  • Educate employees on benefits and assist during open enrollment
  • Conduct exit interviews and identify trends to improve retention
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and maintain required postings on-site
  • Recommend and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement and experience

Must-Haves as the Bilingual Human Resources (HR) Employee Relations:

  • 2+ years of experience in HR, employee relations, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or similar discipline
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to job sites
  • Strong understanding of employee relations practices and employment law
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with sound judgment

Nice-to-Haves as the Bilingual Human Resources (HR) Employee Relations:

  • Experience supporting construction, engineering, or field-based teams
  • Familiarity with multi-site or project-based work environments
  • Experience facilitating training or employee engagement initiatives
