Bilingual Safety Coordinator Location: Ellendale, ND Duration: 1 Year (Start: 9/21) Type: 1099 ContractorCompensation & Schedule Pay Rate: $52/hr️ Overtime: Paid After 40 Hours Per Diem: $125/Day (7 Days Per Week for Non-Local Candidates) OR Client-Provided Lodging Plus $50/Day Per Diem Completion Bonus: $150/month Pay Frequency: Weekly Schedule: Monday-Friday | 50 Hours Per Week | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Additional Schedule Details: Possible Saturdays depending on project needs.Why This Opportunity?Join an electrical contractor supporting the construction of a large-scale data center project in Ellendale, ND. Project scope includes electrical installation, power distribution systems, conduit installation, cable pulling, equipment setting, and mission-critical infrastructure construction.The Construction Safety Coordinator will provide administrative and field safety support for electrical construction operations while working closely with project management, craft personnel, subcontractors, and safety leadership to ensure compliance with project and OSHA requirements.Required Qualifications OSHA 30 Construction Certification Minimum 3+ Years of Construction Safety Experience Bilingual (Spanish/English) Required Experience conducting field audits, inspections, and hazard assessments Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to support both field and administrative safety functions
Preferred Qualifications Electrical Construction Experience Data Center Construction Experience Mission-Critical Construction Experience OSHA 510 Certification CHST, ASP, CSP, or Other BCSP Credential Contractor Safety Management ExperienceWhat You'll Be DoingProvide administrative and field safety support for electrical construction activities
Maintain a visible presence throughout active work areas
Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments
Assist with safety documentation, compliance tracking, and reporting requirements
Monitor electrical installation activities, material handling operations, and contractor work practices
Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements
Assist with incident investigations and corrective action tracking
Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel
Coordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, and subcontractors
Support orientations, toolbox talks, and project safety meetings
Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project
