Billing & Settlement Coordinator:
SUMMARY:This position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of driver trip sheets for settlement and billing for the respective trip sheet shipments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Nothing in this job description reflects management"s assignment of essential functions. It does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.Daily / Weekly: Audit Tripsheets for company drivers and owner operators Process driver settlements in TMW Initiate the TMW G/L transfer; includes upload of accounts receivable and payable Process pays corrections as needed Work closely with Dispatch in all Terminals Respond to driver pay inquiries Access EIA website to update & distribute fuel surcharge rates Enter driver chargebacks and standard deductions Process owner operator checks Access and set up owner operator direct deposit (ACH) payments via Wells Fargo website Prepare UPS packages for GA, IN, and TX terminal to send driver weekly checks File trip sheets Review unbilled report for order entry accuracy Issue driver escrow checks as neededMonthly Participate in month end close, adhering to deadlines and proper cutoffsQuarterly Pack trip sheets for archive storageYear end: Pull audit selections (including other audit periods, such as bi-annual bank audits) W9 tracking, vendor maintenance review and 1099 mail preparation. Backup for Outside Carrier trip sheet processing and billing Back up on Payable processing Accounts Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 2-3 years Accounting, clerical and administrative experience, preferably in Trucking/Logistics High school diploma required Some colleges desired, but not required
COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions. Ability to interact with employees, vendors and drivers in a professional manner Ability to speak and write English
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately
COMPUTER SKILLS Must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of database, contact management systems and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. 10-key touch pad - calculator, adding machine Experience with TMW and Vantage a plus, but not required
