Job Purpose:

To fulfill the daily tasks of assisting with shipping needs. Ensuring that the correct product and correct product quantities are being shipped within BlueStar standards while helping to maintain a clean, safe and harmonious work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with completing "Bill of Ladings" for each shipment with meticulous attention to detail.
Monitor order reporting to verify orders are Picked, Packed and Shipped in a FIFO manner daily.
Assist with the organization of the Shipping Dock and Loading Process
Assist with Picking/Packing large format displays
Other duties as assigned by Shipping Manager.

Requirements:

Understanding of basic terms and processes involving FTL/LTL and international shipments.
High attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
Experience with Bills of Lading and a WMS system.
Basic Computer and Microsoft Excel skills required.
Good literacy, math and communication skills, well organized.
Stand-up Forklift or Pallet Rider experience is a plus.
Have the ability to lift 50+ pounds, from floor level to a bench top, and the ability to stand for 8 hours or more each day.
The ability to read, identify, and comprehend alphanumeric part number schemes up to 30 characters long.
