Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in billing, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner in accordance.
- Email daily invoices while ensuring all necessary backup documentation is indexed correctly.
- Validate supporting documents related to billing, such as Purchase Orders (POs), Bills of Lading (BOLs), scale tickets, and freight paperwork.
- Manage rejected invoices from customers and address discrepancies via email.
- Maintain accurate and organized billing records to support accounting and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues efficiently.
- Help with Driver settlements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 years of Transportation billing experience.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a positive and motivated attitude in a fast-paced work environment.
- Transportation experience is a plus.
- Adaptability to changing processes and priorities.
