The Billing Coordinator will support the firm's attorneys, clients, and billing operations by ensuring accurate and timely processing of client invoices, attorney time, expenses, and billing documentation.

Job Details:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Billing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position, ideally suited for a professional with a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, and a keen interest in the legal industry. This position is a crucial part of our team, providing essential support to our financial operations and playing a key role in maintaining the firm's financial health. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional time management skills, and a deep understanding of ebilling systems, particularly eBillingHub.
Responsibilities:As a Billing Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing the entire billing process, from data entry and invoice creation to payment collection and financial reporting.
- Collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff to ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Utilizing eBillingHub and other ebilling systems to process invoices and track payments.
- Monitoring accounts receivable and following up on outstanding balances.
- Performing regular audits to ensure billing accuracy and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Preparing financial reports and analyses to assist management in decision-making.
- Resolving billing disputes and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assisting with other accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a billing or accounting role, preferably within a law firm.
- Exceptional knowledge of financial reporting and data entry.
- Proficiency in eBillingHub and other ebilling systems.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- A bachelor's or Associates degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with legal billing and compliance regulations is a plus.
