Job Summary: Handles incoming telephone call inquiries into the Billing Department, and assists with various Billing
functions. Must have stellar customer service skills.
Daily Duties
- Act as Billing office resource for patient and inter-departmental billing questions
- Research patient accounts in Athena practice management system.
- Process incoming patient credit card payments
- Update patient demographics in Athena practice, as needed
- Refer patients to Financial Counselor and Self pay billing representative, as needed to resolve outstanding balances.
