Position Summary
The Billing Intern will support the Finance team with day-to-day billing operations, data entry, and administrative tasks. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in invoicing, financial systems, and basic accounting practices while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in billing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and processing customer invoices in a timely manner
- Review billing data for accuracy and completeness
- Enter and maintain billing information in the company’s accounting system
- Support reconciliation of billing discrepancies and resolve basic issues
- Assist with tracking payments and updating billing records
- Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, customer service) to verify billing details
- Provide general administrative support to the Finance/Billing team as needed
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of accounting principles preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
