Job Description
Billing SpecialistAutomation Personnel Services is looking for a Billing Specialist for a company based in Decatur, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible foraccurate, timely, and complete invoicing of customer orders, projects, and deliveries.
Pay Rate$18.00 or more based on experience
Schedule and HoursMonday through Friday, 7 30 am to 4 30 pm.
Billing Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
- Verify pricing quantities, weights, freight charges, and job details prior to invoicing.
- Coordinate with scheduling and production to confirm shipped vs. fabricated quantities.
- Assist with posting payments and applying credits as needed.
- Work with sales and operations to correct pricing or billing issued.
- Support audits and month-end activities.
Billing Specialist Qualifications and Requirements
- 2+ years of billing, invoicing, or accounting support experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable working with accounting or ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic office software.
