Job Description
A law firm in the Uptown Dallas area is seeking a Billing Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for supporting the firms billing process, including reviewing, editing, preparing, and submitting invoices in accordance with firm and client guidelines. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a high volume of billing work while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.Responsibilities
- Review, edit, and prepare client invoices in accordance with firm and client billing guidelines
- Process and submit invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Work closely with attorneys and staff to resolve billing inquiries and make necessary adjustments
- Ensure compliance with client billing requirements and firm policies
- Manage a high volume of billing while maintaining strong attention to detail
- 3+ years of full-cycle billing experience in a law firm or legal environment
- Experience with Elite 3E billing software required
- Electronic billing (e-billing) experience is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
