Billing Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEWThis position compiles and maintains records, processes payments/credits, balances accounts, and provides research for chargebacks/disputes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Data entry.
• Process and produce customer invoices, reviewing all documents for accuracy and billing
• discrepancies
• Review POD, make sure adjustments are being submitted and enter serial numbers
• Conciliate daily logs and daily billing
• Process inventory receiving from each branch, match correctly to the invoice and Purchase
• Order
• Code and enter accounts payable data
• Research invoice issues/discrepancies
• Print and match invoice and receiving ticket
• Match up daily drafts with correct invoice
• Research discrepancies

REQUIREMENTS / EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to multi-task and work within specified timeframes
• Ability to work in a fast paced, self-directed environment
• Previous work experience in the construction or distribution industry a plus
