Job Description
Billing SpecialistPay: $2528/hr depending on experienceLocation: Manchester, CT (fully on-site)Type: On-site, Full-Time (8:00am 4:30pm)In partnership with a longstanding client, we are looking to hire a detail-oriented Billing Specialist in Manchester, CT. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate billing processes and supports strong customer relationships through close collaboration with the sales team.Responsibilities
- Prepare and post bills, invoices, and receipts into accounting system
- Ensure timely and accurate invoice creation and distribution
- Manage the accounts receivable database, including adding new accounts and tracking missed payments
- Verify the validity of debit accounts
- Process and apply payments received from clients
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to support and maintain customer relationships
- 3+ years in accounts receivable or billing, preferably in the manufacturing industry.*
- Associate's degree preferred*
- Proficiency in Excel and online billing platforms*
- Strong communication and customer service skills
