Billing Specialist

Standard Hours: Monday- Friday, 9:00 am- 5:00 pm

Wage: $18-$20/hr.

JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides professional and outstanding Customer Service.
• Enjoys finding solutions that work by assisting Consumers with their financial obligations by accepting payments over the phone, offering payment plans or educating the consumer regarding their auto loans.
• Ability to answer billing questions regarding auto loan types of loans, monthly payments, and repayment plans.
• Process consumers surrenders or redemptions.
• Educate consumers regarding their Bankruptcy plans and what is outlined with the plans.
• Work with outside contractors regarding the repossession or redemption of consumers vehicles.
• Update and maintain consumer records.
• Ability to multitask in multiple systems such as email, phone calls and chat features.
• Communicate concise processes to consumers so they understand and are comfortable with the outcome.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred.
• Related work experience with vehicles or collections preferred.
• Extensive computer skills and knowledge with Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel,
• Knowledge/experience with BFrame desired but not required.
• Good listening and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational skills and able to multi-task.
• Detail oriented and able to meet deadlines
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Able to handle disputes while being in compliance of regulations.
• Reliable and demonstrates ability to consistently work assigned schedule.
• Bilingual skills valued but not required.
