What You'll Do
- Review and analyze carrier freight bills for accuracy and completeness
- Identify and proactively resolve billing discrepancies, duplicate charges, and outstanding issues
- Facilitate the timely billing of customer orders
- Communicate with internal departments and external partners to resolve open items and maintain service standards
- Partner with transportation providers to obtain documentation required for customer invoicing
- Escalate issues appropriately to ensure prompt resolution
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing billing efficiency and reducing cycle times
- Utilize internal systems and technology to manage daily responsibilities effectively
- Deliver exceptional service with a customer-first mindset
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in one of the following areas:
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Audit
- Transportation/Logistics
- Load Planning
- Billing or invoice processing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Business, Transportation/Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to present information clearly and professionally to a variety of audiences
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
