Job Description
Title: BIM ManagerLocation: Lenexa, KSHire Type: Contract to HireSalary: $60-$80/hourBenefits: Medical, dental, vision
Sterling Engineering is looking for a BIM Manager in Lenexa, KS. This opportunity is with an industry leader supporting large-scale data center construction projects.
Job Duties:
- Support a large-scale data center project expected to run 2–3 years
- Manage full BIM scope coordination with engineering teams, trade partners, and vendors
- Support field layout, model-based quantity takeoffs, and fabrication workflows
- Coordinate 3D models across all trades
- Review and interpret construction documents and submittals
- Utilize Autodesk products, Navisworks, BIM360/ACC, and Revit for project execution
- Travel to various project locations as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience utilizing BIM-based workflows
- Minimum 8 years of Revit experience, including at least 4 years of full-time Revit use
- 3+ years of professional experience with Navisworks and BIM360/ACC
- Strong understanding of construction processes and procedures
- Experience with 3D coordination across multiple trades
- Proficiency with Autodesk products and Microsoft Office Suite
