BIM Revit Coordinator - Commercial HVAC & Plumbing

HB McClure is a full mechanical, electrical and plumbing contractor in the Central PA area. We offer a broad range of commercial and industrial mechanical services from new construction design/build projects, renovations, retrofits as well as planned preventive maintenance, on-demand service, and equipment repair and replacement.

We are currently searching for aBIM/Revit Coordinatorto support a critical role in the design and coordination of commercial HVAC, duct, plumbing, pipefitting, and mechanical systems. This position requires extensive Revit experience and a strong background in 3D modeling, clash detection, and coordination to ensure the seamless integration of mechanical systems into commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a commercial mechanical, electrical contracting, general contracting, or architectural setting.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• 3+ years of experience of Revit modeling experience in a commercial setting, working with MEP contractors, general contractors or engineering firms.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and piping systems, field installation experience is a bonus
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Excel and Bluebeam
• Proficiency in REVIT, Navisworks and AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of MEP coordination workflows, shop drawings and field installation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Develop and manage detailedRevit modelsfor commercial mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, plumbing)
• Perform clash detection and resolution
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, engineers, and trade teams to support field execution
• Create and maintainRevit families, templates, and content libraries
• Participate in trade coordination meetings, ensuring smooth integration across disciplines
• Support the transition from design to fabrication and installation
